Manageress Barbara has decades of experience in the catering and bakery trades and is famous for her mouth-watering buffets where portions are more than generous.

 

The function room is spacious, has pleasant surroundings and is complete with a stage and dance floor.

 

The well-stocked bar offers a wide range of drinks, including for those with discerning tastes a selection of fine malt whiskies.

 

Named after well-known Shetland accordionist Jim Halcrow, a long-standing friend of the Norman family, Halcrow Stadium has hosted many traditional Scottish music evenings with artists ranging from the Alexander Brothers to the Ian Holmes Broadcasting Band.

 

Indeed, James Norman is a noted drummer himself and the function suite is home to the Gretna Accordion and Fiddle Club which attracts members from both Dumfriesshire and Cumbria.

 

There is an annual charity effort at Halcrow Stadium, which culminates in a special Easter dance and more than £14,000 has been raised for good causes since the complex opened in 1986.
